Over the last six years, Bruce Wood has been a valuable member of NWFDIA. During most of this time, he has been chairperson and chief training officer of the NWFDIA RoADAR Group (RoSPA Advanced Driving – teaching advanced driving to professional driving instructors). His attention to detail, not only with NWFDIA but also to his own fleet training business is second to none. I have no hesitation in recommending him as a quality fleet trainer.

Bruce has worked with me on several occasions as an Examiner covered Advanced Driving Test for my clients. As an Examiner, first contact with clients is always important and Bruce does this exceptionally to allow a relaxed approach to the tests. He always portrays himself in a highly professional manner and gives a positive response to everyone no matter what the result. I have no hesitation in using Bruce within my business and would happily work alongside him at any time.

Bruce Wood was introduced to Brother International Europe Ltd in 2012 by RVM Fleet Services. Bruce provides UK familiarisation driving courses to our Japanese staff who have transferred to the UK for periods of 3 – 5 years. The driving course lasts for 2 – 3 hours and includes a highway code quiz, vehicle safety check and a driving session on local roads and motorways. A report is received after the course to highlight any areas of concerns and also strengths and weaknesses of the driver. Using this information we can determine if the driver needs to take further training. Feedback from our Japanese staff has been excellent and they find the course very beneficial. Bruce is always professional and courteous and I would not hesitate to recommend Bruce as a driving instructor.

We have used Bruce’s service as a driving assessor, for a number of years. We are always impressed by his punctuality, level of knowledge and ability to deliver training in a friendly way, which drivers of all ages, are willing to take on board and learn from. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bruce’s services to any company, large or small.
